The ideal is to underline the transparency and fragility of the variety. Fruit from the Olmo Vineyard plays a big role and ¡Ègives a strong imprint to this wine,¡É Bibi says. Testamatta offers fresh aromas of violet, rose, forest green and candied orange peel. Bibi says 2021 was generally warmer than 2020, but all three vintages - 2020, 2021 and 2022 - are considered hot. He is upbeat regarding 2023 thanks to all the rain. Testamatta shows an earthy note that gives this wine (with 120,000 bottles made) a slightly more accessible personality. The tannins are lightly managed and the oak framing is down to an elegant minimum. Bibi buys 1% new oak each year, and his oldest barrels date back to 2003. He does not pull leaves, and he employs methods that do not concentrate his fruit so he can safeguard the typicity of Sangiovese. Winemaking is as natural as possible. Production of 2013 and 2014 was skipped, and the next vintage we shall see (very soon) is 2015, which is also reviewed in this report. This vintage produced large berry sizes for Sangiovese - something Bibi Graetz is always happy to see because it is an indicator of elegance and finesse within the context of the house style. If you consider this wine, his observation makes perfect sense. This warm vintage is powerful and rich in its natural state, so any additional berry density might easily lead to overextraction and heaviness. However, the mouthfeel is objectively thinner and more compact in this vintage. Colore represents a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino in equal parts. The bouquet is redolent of wild berry, dried cherry and toasted spice. This vintage offers a very attractive mineral note as well. Fruit is selected from three of Bibi Graetz's favorite vineyards with ancient vines: Lamole (in Chianti Classico), Vincigliata and Siena. It's medium to full-bodied, richly textured and tannic but with a slightly open-knit feel and a ripe, softly wooly finish.(The Wine Advocate, Apr 01, 2023) ¥À¥é ¥ô¥¡¥ì ¥Þ¥ä 2020 Dalla Valle Maya ¥¢¥á¥ê¥« ¥«¥ê¥Õ¥©¥ë¥Ë¥¢ À֥磻¥ó ¿·Æþ²Ù 108,000 円

Marked by scents of truffle and tree bark, great blackberry and black cherry fruit, plus accents of licorice and peppery spice, it's another in a line of terrific wines that have been made every year since 2009. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, it's velvety but tannic, with enough structure and intensity on the lingering finish to expect at least two decades of cellaring potential (but probably more).(The Wine Advocate, Oct 13, 2023) ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥É ¥Ü¡¼¥«¥¹¥Æ¥ë ¥ª¥Þ¡¼¥¸¥å ¥¢ ¥¸¥ã¥Ã¥¯ ¥Ú¥é¥ó 2021 Chateau de Beaucastel Hommage a Jacques Perrin ¥Õ¥é¥ó¥¹ ¥í¡¼¥Ì À֥磻¥ó ¿·Æþ²Ù 59,800 円
